When's the sponsorship deadline?
Tiers fill in order — Title is exclusive, Platinum and Gold are limited. We lock the final sponsor list four weeks before the tournament (late August) so we have time to produce signage, bottles, and the event video. Earlier is better, especially for Title.
How do I pay?
Interac e-Transfer with auto-deposit to info@drivingforchange.ca. You'll get a unique reference code (e.g. DFC-2026-XXXXX) after you register. Cheque and wire transfer available on request — call (416) 409-3738.
Will I get a tax receipt?
Yes — issued by our charity partner BridgeNorth, not by DFC. Receipts cover the eligible donation portion of your sponsorship (the amount above the fair market value of the golf, food, and swag your golfers receive). Contact Pauline if you have questions about your specific tier.
What format and deadline for my logo?
Vector preferred (SVG, EPS, or AI). High-res PNG on transparent background also works. We need it at least three weeks before the tournament to hit the signage and bottle printing deadlines. Email it to info@drivingforchange.ca.
Can we send a different team of golfers?
Absolutely. Your company sponsors the spot, not the person. You can swap golfer names up until two weeks before the event. Employees, clients, partners — whoever represents your business best.
What if we want to donate a prize instead of (or in addition to) a tier?
Auction and raffle prize donations are very welcome. Vacation packages, golf equipment, sports tickets, and experiential prizes all perform well. Prize donors are recognized at the gala and in post-event communications. Email Pauline to discuss.
Is sponsorship refundable?
Sponsorships are non-refundable once signage production begins (three weeks out). Before that, we can convert your sponsorship to a fully tax-deductible donation. In the rare case of event cancellation, proceeds are converted into a donation — with a tax receipt issued through BridgeNorth.
